The great thing about these shelf brackets is that you don't even have to use them for curtains. You can use them in any room to add a shelf and use the hooks under the shelf to add other hanging items, or use them for a curtain pole. Add a 1"x6" board (not included) and you've got a great shelf. A standard 1"x6" is really around 3/4"x5-1/2" so will fit perfectly. Star is about 3" across. There is a hook under it that you could use to hang a light plant or use the 2 together to hang a curtain rod. You will receive a set of 2. There are 2 holes to put the screws for mounting. The screws are not included. Due to the way they are made, they may vary slightly. Made in India.
